Rabat—Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah delivered one of the most remarkable individual performances of the season on Tuesday, scoring six goals and providing an assist in Al-Shabab’s overwhelming 13–0 win over Yemeni side Al-Tadamon in the Gulf Club Champions League.
Already the record holder for the most hat-tricks in Saudi Pro League history with 11, this “double” feat further cements his legacy as one of the most clinical strikers in Middle Eastern football history.
The result secured Al-Shabab’s place in the semi-finals and solidified Hamdallah’s position as the competition’s top scorer.
The match, played at the SHG Arena in Riyadh as part of the final group stage fixtures of Group B, had Hamdallah make an immediate impact. He opened Al-Shabab’s scoring involvement with an important assist in the 14th minute before embarking on an extraordinary scoring rally.
The 35-year-old found the net at the 34th, 43rd, 58th, 62nd, 65th and 68th minutes, completing a double hat-trick that has few parallels in modern professional club competitions.
His six-goal haul brought his total in the tournament to seven goals, making him the current leading scorer in the Gulf Club Champions League. That tally puts him ahead of many notable attackers like Wesley, Carrasco or Sherko Kareem.

Cementing his legacy
Abderrazak Hamdallah’s double hat trick is officially the first time in history that a player has scored six goals in a single match in the Gulf Club Champions League. While other players have scored hat tricks in the tournament before, no one had ever reached the six-goal milestone.
Al-Shabab totally dominated from start to finish, overwhelming Al-Tadamon and never catching their breath. That 13–0 was one of the biggest margins the Gulf Club Champions League has ever seen.
Hamdallah has cemented his legendary status in the region, now sitting at 150 goals and closing in on the all-time Saudi Pro League scoring record. It’s just another impressive chapter in a career where he’s consistently found the back of the net across Asia and the Middle East, especially during his standout years in Saudi.
Hamdallah’s impact also extends to the international level. He was the hero for Morocco in the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup back in November, leading the national team to their second title in history. He finished the tournament with 3 goals and 1 assist in 4 appearances. For his heroics in the final, he was named “Man of the Match.”
